PATRON

Cdr GVK Unnithan, Indian Navy (Retd) belongs to Alleppey Dist., Kerala. He was commissioned into Indian Navy in 1967. On completion of 30 years of meritorious service including 2 wars, he retired in 1997. He has been serving in several front line warships and Training Establishments. He was deputed to  few State Governments and Interservice Organisations as well.

On retirement he joined   the Mercantile Marine  for a decade where, he served in its ships in several parts of the world. Later he switched as its Training Faculty.

He was awarded the prestigious ” Lifetime Achievement Award” by the International Maritime Federation in 2018.

At present he is a Consultant/ Auditor for the Mercantile Marine/ Maritime Fraternity at Mumbai and supporting Milestone Swimming Promoting Charitable Society for their efforts in Swim and Survive Project.
