S.P. Muraleedharan is an International Adventurous Swimmer, belongs to Alleppey Dist. Kerala. From a humble beginning as a swimming pool cleaner, he later became International Adventurous Swimmer and has achieved many milestones in India and abroad. He is the first Malayali to swim across the Palk Strait ( Sri Lanka to India) in 2012, a distance of 35 km, swam across the Mumbai Sea in 2005, participated in World level Open Water Swimming Competition in 2005 in Zurich Lake, Switzerland & came 5^th place out of 150 participants and has many more feats in his credit. He is the First Person in the world to swim around Vivekananda Rock at Kanyakumari in 2013. He has trained more than 5000 people from different parts of India  and abroad including Kerala Police Personnel. He is also a motivational speaker and has given inspirational speeches to children in different schools.
